This is it. The day we’ve all been waiting for.
We no longer have to use the term ‘next season’. We no longer have to say ‘when’ or ‘if’. That time is NOW. It’s the first day of the 2018 Buffalo Bills training camp. We even have the Hall of Fame game next week. Semi-real football is here!
Three burning questions are eating away at #BillsMafia…
In case you’ve been living under a rock, he’s been accused being up his girlfriend (or having someone do it for him.) Will he participate in camp? Will he be indicted? Will he be suspended? Will he ever play football again? What will Buffalo do at the RB position, should Shady not play? Can we rely on a 30 year old Chris Ivory?
How many 1st team reps will he get throughout camp? Will he ultimately beat out one or both of the other guys in the QB room? He’s by far the most physically talented, and so far has appeared to be mentally prepared for the national spotlight, however, can he process the game once the pads come on? Can you break down defenses on the fly? How soon do we see #17 on the field?
What the HELL are we doing for pass catchers? Besides Kelvin Benjamin, we have ZERO established players at the position, unless you count Zay Jones, who was a disappointment in his rookie campaign, and who is also starting training camp on the Non-Football Injury (NFI) list. The dude got cranked up on synthetic marijuana, and put his foot through a window.
Behind them, we have journeymen Andre Holmes, Rod Streater, and Jeremy Kerley. None of which will scare a defense.
Excitement is in the air. Yes.
